I went cycling last Sunday which I supposed to work at the first place, but at the second, not anymore. =)

And I bump into taf xfj and her beau at ECP. How small the world can be, anyone?

Speaking about working out, (I suppose cycling count), I browse through internet and saw this:

10 Reasons to Hop to It:-
1. Burns up to 1,000 calories per hour.
2. Tones your entire body -- arms, legs, trunk, and back.

3. Is easy to learn (master’s degree in Pilates not required).
4. Improves your game, whether you golf, swim, ski, or play tennis.
5. Is totally cheap (ropes can start at $3.99) and portable (a 4-foot by 6-foot area is all you need).
6. Looks cool . . . check out those boxers at the gym who know what they’re doing.
7. Can be a solo or group workout.
8. Is gender neutral.
9. Is family friendly. Give your kids a rope, too!
10. Can be a blast. Make up some jump rope tricks, and have fun with it.

sometimes i cant help but think that they are so bias =/
just because they think that she might leave anytime without telling.
maybe i shouldn't have consult tplqfoh abt mrs koh's offer.i should have just accept mrs koh's offer and render resignation. then they'll know it's not just zwppoof ubo that MIGHT leave.

somemore hor, i'm just an JMT hor, which according to tfmjob who is an MT who address herself as small fry, i realise i'm the tiny tiny fry who no one will appreciate your effort.
and of course lar, super easily replacable.
and the reason tplqfoh sounded that they need you so much, is simply because they don't have the luxury of time to train new staff.

nothing to do with appreciation.

i'm glad that i haven go to HR and sign the renewal-contract thingy.
after all that have happened, it strucks me that the reason i can easily feel upset abt other people said, it's simply because i care too much.
and from today onwards, i shall care less. it doesn't matter anymore.and abt the contract, i shall think it over again. after all, it's not a bad thing to switch environment even if it's just for like.. 3 months?
yes. to work under mrs koh is surely nice =) the only bad thing i can think abt the whole thing is that, my bonus would be gone if i leave now!

xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx xxx

This is indeed upsetting.
i shall care less and talk less and just do my own job.
i shall care less and talk less.
i shall care less.

i still went to hr and sign the contract.
to me, the attraction of $$ (as in bonus at year end) is still greater.
i hate myself for that. (oh well, don't have to pretend to be 'qing gao', whether i'm going for study or not next year, the >1month bonus is super attractive, okay?)

i once read this article by one CEO of a company out there on the topic how will they relate this 2 issues- employee haveing need to work OT and their efficiency.

i figured most employers (espcially Singaporean boss) think that if his staff work a lot of OT (irregardless whether is paid OT or otherwise), that means that the staff is actually very hardworking and dilligent and committed to his work.

but i beg to be differ. it could show that your staff is 'committed' in one way, but in another, it means there is something very wrong with his efficiency that he needs to work OT.

of coz if the office/lab is short-handed, different issue will be addressed.

but sadly, most of the employer still regards their work-most-OT staff as the most diligent staff, and therefore, better performance appraisal and higher salary increment, etc etc.

hmph.

i met up with laimun some weeks ago and before we split our way going home she made a comment that i look like i'm attached.

my colleagues used to think i'm steady with my beau ever since my sista had a bouquet of flower send to my lab on V-day.

even my dad thinks that i went home late nowadays because i went out pak-toh.

ohmygod. but i'm not. been busy. with work and jap class stuff and blah blah. but not relationship. definitely.

so, guy who wants to know me, just come forward and say hi. pls do not assume that i'm attached or what. like wat laimun said,
"you juz have the kuan4 as if u are attached."

i cant stop but think this 'new' colleague of mine hates me. where i seriously don't think i have done anything nasty to her. not like i'm those type of person.

i shall call this 'new' colleague of mine zwnnoof. (well i have my way to create codes for all the frens/ colleague =) if u are smart enough, u shud be able to de-code it. it's a very common way for de-coding though.)

well, this zwnnoof is 'new', simply bcoz she was already worked there when i joined the company 1 year ago- only that she left short after that to persue her degreee overseas. and one year later, da-tah, there she back. here.

we dont really have a lot of interaction in anyway. though we are colleagues and our work flow sort of need conversation with each other. and this time round when she's back, she somehow developed the 'writing notes' or pasting 'post-it' if she has to tell me something. well for most ppl who are viewing this might be thinking this is nothing. but i juz dun get it, why bother to write notes when u can juz tell the person face to face? this is reason #1 why i think she hates me.

reason #2. it's not like i'm like so cool and face black everyday, though i always say i'm a very LP (ie low profile) person. i did try to talk to her. ask her open question (ie those question whereby the answer is anything more than yes/ no). but somehow the response i get back is cold. the, i really got nothing to say liao.

reason #3: when u reach/leave ur office, u naturally will greet ur colleagues morning/bye. but, she never greet me. and for my case, even if i greet her, the response is like... so reluctant! damn it. this kind of 'cold shower' thing will really spoil ur whole day ya know.

well there are plenty more reason why i think she hates me. and i dowan to talk abt it anymore else i'll juz cry. coz i feel im so pity with nothing i did is wrong or offended her in anyway. if thing doesnt turn out better in 1 month time, i think i shud seriously thinking abt changing job or juz go off study. it might seems silly, but i juz cant tolerate the idea having need to work with someone who hates u, so openly, and yet, u got no other option coz the lab is so small and all the processes is linked up and no chance u can get away doing everything by ur own without need to cooperate with ur colleague.

oh i recalled, i think i once said very very loud that i think she's pretty. i tot that suppose to be a compliment? bo bian if she got offended lah. for my case it's almost impossible to get such compliment lo. a-hem. tmd lo.

tmd tmd tmd...

Diamonds are girls' best friend?

BLOOD DIAMOND IS BLOOOOOOOOOODY NICE.

serious. SERIOUS.
A few years ago, I came to a conclusion that movies based on true story are really interesting. And it makes me think a lot.
A LOT.
Blood Diamond gave me the same after effect.

And Leonardo DiCaprio- He really puts in lot of effort. for example the accent that African have.

http://www.realdiamondfacts.org/
The real story about the dard side of the diamond industry.
Go see go see.

I'm seriously thinking twice (make it thrice) about wanting a diamond ring.
Afterall, one's arm worth more than a few thousands.

My free Astrocenter Weekly Horoscope send to me on Dec24 says:
"New Year's Eve is not as dynamic as it has been in other years. You may notice that you just don't have the energy to go out and celebrate ringing in 2007 and may find it easier and more relaxing to watch a movie or see on all on TV. "

I read this on Jan3, 2007. And guess what, I sleep in during New Year. I just don't have the energy to go out and squeeze with people. Think Christmas took too much of my energy away.

While everyone is writing their 2007 New Year resolution, I decided to write my Pig Year CNY Resolution on Feb 17.

Who knows? It might bring better luck in accomplishing the goals on the list. =)
